Can you imagine Jesus doing that?
What pricks, Christians are totally not like Jesus. Muhammad maybe...
However, let's not forget that this guy, in Islamic countries, wouldn't have even been allowed to speak in the first place. I'm also surprised that they didn't kick out those Christians, although they probably did afterwards.
The majority of Christians are better than Muslims. Accept it, although America does indeed have its fair share of Islamic-like Christians.
(I'm saying that because i believe that's what the topic is trying to say?)
So, remember, Christians. Try to act more like your Christ instead of the "pope" or whoever else. He seemed like a nice guy at the end of the day, regardless of whether he existed or not.

Im a catholic(oooo the worst of christians according to some assholes in the world) and I wouldnt do that, I understand others beliefs and I don't push my religion on them(sadly my religion on a whole is not this way). Those who cant tolerate other religions need to understand the world doesnt revolve around them. Just more fuel to add to those who hate christians.

lol - reminds me of the time the DUP protested & demonstrated at the arrival of the Dali Lama to a peace conference for Northern Ireland years ago, gotta love the Fundamentalist Christian right wing nutter's
I don't hate Christians. I hate people that can't show respect towards what other people believe in. Even if I disagree with someone about issues, it's always the polite thing to let them speak and express their own beliefs and opinions instead of interrupting them like that. That's just total crap. Pisses me off when I get interrupted during a discussion or an exchange of ideas. Kudos to the guy for keeping his cool.
Those bible thumper's need to show more respect, no doubt. But why would you bring a "Hindu" Guest Chaplain to a predominately evangelical Christian senate meeting in Nevada to give a Hindu prayer? Just a thought.
Ditto man ditto.r2zoo wrote:

meh, they feel they're the "best" religion because it's the richest religion when in fact muslim is the most common religion throughout the world. It's all a matter of having too big a head.
This oughta show them who's boss...

Rubbish. This is just as bad as how people suddenly started referring to all Muslims as terrorists like the terms were synonymous.

It's funny (well not funny but true) you say that because there have been some popes that were very blood thirsty.Mekstizzle wrote:

Personally, I am a Catholic and i think those people were jackasses for doing that.
I also believe that it is also because ALL people have trouble knowing when they just need to shut the hell up.
I personally dont believe christianity is the best, it's the one i believe the mostfarmerfez wrote:

True.... I think Lythberg summed it up well. These intolerant people aren't REAL Christians.DesertFox- wrote:

Those little retarded uber right wing christian fundamentalist shits. That kind of crap really grinds my gears coming from senators. On that point, I would greatly appreciate it if someone would find out who those people were so we can make sure not to vote for them ever again. Maybe we'll even ...
...crucify them........
Embarrassment to a religion and to a country.

Blackbelts are just whitebelts who have never quit.
What a bunch of fucking children. That's embarrassing.
Well, what I would have done was maybe talked with the Hindu priest afterwards if I could and ask about his faith, and witness to him if he wanted. I don't know how Jesus would react, but I think he might have stayed silent then witnessed to the guy afterwards. Because I think that priest was left with a sour taste from those Christians. But who knows, God may have told him to drop his ways during his prayer and start worshiping the real God. That is if you believe that.Mekstizzle wrote:

I understand this desire to convert, but "witnessing" to a priest of a different religion is like a Mormon missionary trying to convert a pastor.
My point was these "Christians" were so inclined to interrupt the poor the guy and mention Jesus being the only God. What an effective way to witness to someone, but if you're going to do it, do it after he is done and in a peaceful manner. But I said I'd witness to him if he wanted to, as in if he was open about what I believe in. I wouldn't press it on him if he didn't want to talk about it. Those "Christians" however probably didn't care much about the guy's salvation, but were only there to heckle the guy and rub it in his face.Turquoise wrote:
