I think it is really hard to get the pistol combat badge only because the pistols are way underpowered. If the damage of pistols was raised, then that would help.
Double-tap to the head. Done. 5 to 7 shots to the body depending if they are armoured or not.

just get used to it and its pretty easy to get kills. but it would be kinda nice if it did more damage.
Expert is easy
if your having problems with pistol being underpowered (which it isn't) try being sniper, snipe them once in the torso and use pistol to finish them of, no problem at all...
Pistol badge is hard? Since when? Actually the Pistol is one of the most accurate weapons in the game plus it's stopping power is quite high...
I've kicked GLers asses with pistols. I've kicked Snipers asses with pistols. I've kicked Spec Ops guys' asses with pistols, ditto for Support and Medic. Not AT, but these were all head on engagements. You don't come out of them at full health.
What you need to do is stay calm. Chances are they'll panic at their health going steadily down, and keep their finger on the trigger. Every bullet you fire will hit them, while their bullets are going all over the place.

yeah pistol is awsome, its great when your anti-tank, for those guys capping flags and you don't want to give your postition away. I'm at 190, so 74 behind you Tyferra, but i'm geting there lol

Just start at the torso and then click really fast.
yeah the expert badge is actually really easy to get. it would either be easiest with sniper (shoot them once with rifle then finish off with pistol) or be a medic (because after a firefight with a pistol you always lose health)
pistols are fun.
They should make a pistol unlock, the .50 Desert Eagle. 8 round clip and more recoil but more damage.
