Yeah, we are east of there and I can tell ya I don't think anyone is dancing in the streets here. I am a civilan here and I do not leave the base for any reason, nor do I want to. I have no first hand knowledge of what is going on outside the gates but the mortar and rocket attacks that I have been dodging, along with the car bombs and IED's going off just outside the gates lead to believe no one is in a dancing mood.

Gunslinger would be a better source for first hand opinions on Iraq. I am just too isolated to offer any real opinions first hand. Unless you want my opinion on how I feel diving for a bunker when mortars start coming in
