Getting involved in Vietnam was disasterous?.. Leaving it was disasterous!
Didn't they end up getting rid of the Khymer Rouge, that's pretty good. Vietnam isn't doing bad today. The world didn't blow up and there was no domino effect of commies controlling Asia.
The world didn't blow up, but at least a million South-Vietnamese did. The communists aren't doing bad indeed, because all the children of parents of the old regime were conscripted and deployed on the first line as canon fodder in Cambodia,.. that was pretty good? Now they want all the "Vietnamese oversea" as the call them to come back and invest, a lot of them have done so already but a lot of them refuse untill they are given back their homes which were taken for the people (read: to house an ass kissing commy official).

The US could have just blasted the hell out of Hanoi, but they didn't. Not just for fear of Russia, but also because of the "Free Media" which showed a distorted image of poor innocent North Vietnamese. When the US was there allready, they should have finished what they started. You don't pull out of a war out of pitty for your enemy and then let him butcher your ally.

Fuck him! He's almost as incompetent as George W. is!!!

If we left Iraq, that place would be even more fucked than it is now. . . . Trust me, we aint goin' anywhere.  That incompetent fuck can shut his mouth and do his job, namely getting an oil contract worked out between all rival factions!!
Just leave, they're even asking for it now. They need a civil war one way or another and it WILL happen, the US should cut and run seen as it's almost a no win scenario anyway.
Cutting and running is exactly what the terrorists want us to do. . . .  it aint gonna happen dude!!

We have invested WAY TOO MUCH time and effort in Iraq to let it go to al-Qaeda and the Iranians. . . .

Leaving Iraq would essentially be the most disastrous move the US has ever made. . . .outside of getting involved in Vietnam.
Worse than leaving Afghanistan to start the BS that created this situation? I still dont see why we have to spill American blood for a feud that's been going on longer than we have been a country.

Heh... Fine. If they think so. Watch there country be overthrown once again by terrorists and pressure from evil countries next door...

Then they'll be on the phone crying to big USA to save them...

Clowns
When were they overthrown by terrorists to begin with? Saddam was no fan of other power bases in competition to him, and he went to war with his neighbors, with our chemical weapons no less.

Who is the clown here?

Your body might have American blood to spill, yet cars spill mainly non-American oil.
