Regardless of where you stand on the issue of the U.S. involvement in Iraq,

here's an interesting statistic:
There has been a monthly average of 160,000 US troops in the Iraq
theatre of operations during the last 22 months, and a total of 2,112
[U.S.] deaths. That gives a monthly firearm death rate of 60 per 100,000
soldiers. The firearm death rate in Washington D.C. is 80.6 per 100,000
persons for the same period. That means that you are about 25% more likely
to be shot and killed in the U.S. capital than you are in Iraq.

Conclusion:
The U.S. should pull out of Washington.

Not bad.

But IED's are killing about 70% of our boyz.

The closest comparision would be Ted Kennedys ass.

If you're a US soldier, there is probably a 0% of getting shot in Washington (wearing body armour and shit, and walking with guns and shit). Wheras if you're a civilian in Washington and a civilian in Iraq, well, it's pretty self explanatory.

I however, agree that the U.S government should leave Washington.

Yeah, it is true, if we ignore the deaths of Iraqis through violence.

Sometimes I believe that may be very true...

But wait, how is that possible?  Guns are banned in Washington, no one should be getting killed, your statistics are BS.

Different situations, trying to conclude them together to make it sound logically connected.

Bushmaster's for the win.

Pity the US govt. refuses to order them and instead I'm guessing they will be reverse engineered and have a Ford/GM badge slapped on them. To keep Washington's senators happy.

Bushmaster > Hummers. Pity you can't buy Bushmaster's as a civilian.
Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.

lol i r living in washington DC

It really isnt uber terrible in all of DC. Its mostly concentrated in Southeast. Northwest is where the good people live, Northeast is trying to be NW, and Southwest well there isnt anything there. But Southeast is the ghetto, where all the druggies and criminals live. Dont go there and you will be fine.

Granted it would be nice to legally carry a firearm so if some dumbass gangster wants to steal my iPod, he will have to negotiate with a bullet.
