Dan you know I have always wanted servers to be ranked but with no unlocks. Makes for a more challenging game IMO. Putting my words on bf2s.com

Yes that would be great and I think it would attract a lot of clan players because you don't use unlocks in leagues.
I would love to be able to play against ppl with just standard weapons, and if it is a "no unlock server" snipers should be baned as well!
G36E is a great weapon and I love playing with it. But it is to easy to use and almost impossible to miss.... I always call the G36E for the "Stevie Woner Weapon" because even a blind man could play BF2 with it
M16 take more skill to use and after a few hundreds of hours with the G36E (on my other account) i finally start to learn the M16.
But still it's just a game and unlocks are a part of it.
I think people should be able to use whatever they want.
But a ranked server without unlocks would be great for people who don't want to use them for whatever reason.

Voted No. I choose servers by map, not by settings (is it possible to disable Unlocks?).
You don't get rid of the unlocks, but play the Rebel maps (Teams with the same weapons and with good weapons, no need for Unlocks).

just tick the box that says "allow global unlocks"

The only unlocks I use is the AT kits. I'm not too thrilled about the MP5.

I can live with the M24 no problem...but not the SVD
sure would.really the only unlock i use is the L85 when i'm on USMC,because the scope makes it easier to place shots for me,plus it has a bit more power than the M16.
