Not sure if this is in the right forum but here goes anyway.

Im asking if any of you could point me in the direction of a DL acceleratore which doesn't have any drawbacks or add plenty of nice spyware to my computer.

You cannot link search results. they are saved to your computer as cookies or something.

I download DAP the other day all i got was a slower Pc and severely slowed down internet.

I use Internet Download Manager. Boosts my DL's up by about 20-30kb/s, and doesn't slow anything down.
DAP is worthless in my opinion.
