hey guys, not posted here for a long time but here i go.

me and a few of my friends are having a lan day at one of my mates house, about 8 of us and ive decided to take my laptop instead of my pc. my pc has xp which was fine for networking but my laptop has vista home premium.

is there anything i should know before i take my laptop round and find that there are loadsa problems.

any help at all will be appreciated

It should work fine, but I would bring your PC anyway in case anybody at the lan party has any computer problems so you have a spare to use.

The reason im taking my laptop is because i cant be assed taking my pc around when i can just takje my laptop in its bag
