Plus the current energy resources boom means it is flush with cash and feeling cocky.

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE US.

How are any of those things relevant to this issue? This is about Litvinenko and the extradition of the chief suspect in his murder. How is that anything to do with the US?

I'd say quite the opposite is true. It is the belief that everything that goes on around the world is something to do with the US and interference in foreign affairs that caused that to happen.

Argentina fucked with us, the US didn't do much. I didn't see no super USN obliterating the Argentine navy, even though we didn't really need the US. They still caused a fair amount of damage.
