Can't play

Yeah so I installed Special Forces last night, and messed around in a LAN server for a bit seeing the new weapons and vehicles and such.

So then I want to go find a real server so I can get my unlocks, and it loads the map, and as soon as I hit "Join game" it kicks me back to the server list and says "this server only allows unmodified content" or something to that affect. I didn't do anything to it, just installed it.

Any ideas?

You must re-install v1.14. SF returns BF2 to v1 for installation.

edit: I think its v1.14. I forget what the latest patch was.

Then again, by the time you read this, v1.2 may have come out

SF uses the same patches as the regular BF2. The booster packs will also use the same ones.

Ok I tried installing v1.01 but I don't think it's the right one. The I had before was like 250mb, this one's only 16. I had the other burnt to a CD but I can't find it.

So this time it loaded the map and when it was done, crashed to the desktop.

Guess I'll just wait for 1.2 lol.

Well after noticing the patch isn't coming till the 20th, I just downloaded 1.12 again, and it works now. Thanks.
