I've looked at the new SMOTC's stats and it shows that he has some medals more than once (not purple heart or stars), how does that happen?
get the requirements twice.
Each medal can be attained multiple times by meeting the requirement double, tripple, quadruple, etc times over.
EG, first medal qt 1000 points, second at 2k, 3rd at 3k, and so on.
