BF2S Forums Looking for an accurate sniper!

You shoot helos alot? then you don't use the m24 often? do you miss the helos often? i find it very easy to get those yellow hit indicators but i don't think those really count as hits in accuracy countings

my accuracy with the sniper rifle is almost 52% and I have around 4,400 kills with the sniper rifle, i use the mostly the M95 because i like to kill pilots and drivers, but sometimes i use the others sniper just for fun

I shoot the helo when it is fucking smoking dumbass.

Plus I shoot out passengers too, You are able to get gunners out with an m24, I have done it before.




I dont miss helo at all, I meant I get a kill every like one of 4 shots, since the helos are moving.

This is one of the least played kits for me,  411 kills with sniper rifle @ 53.32%.

My sniper stats arent stellar but they are decent. I dont have an opinion on your accuracy question but I do perfer, as most do, the m24 over the m95. The m95 is still a great gun, but Ill take the better accuracy and thiner crosshairs over the armor/glass piercing.

I use to have like 65% accuracy when I had 200 something kills. but ever since I started using the M95, my accuracy has dropped. :cry:
It's really the game's fault. you aim right at their head and it misses. Can't wait til they fix the accuracy in the patch.

47.11%... and I've been playing with my friend lately (I typically do worse as a sniper when I do, since it's a lot easier to get spotted when he spawns around me all the time, hehe).

Yeah. 50% is about right. Sometimes people change directions, dive, etc. And sometimes you're just goofing off. I mean, even goofing off a bit will kill your accuracy if matched with the exact same amount of time played seriously, headshotting every shot. It's just mathematical truth.

Meh, I really don't look at my stats too much. So long as I'm enjoying myself. And putting bullets inbetween people's eyes... well hey, I'm enjoying myself.

Lets see. I can have 100% sniper accruacy if I shoot still targets and clear targets, but I shoot difficult targets including sprinting horiontal. Most of the time I hit them the 2nd shot. Don't forget the server lag

I think im a shade over 52% at the moment, anyone over that must be very very frightening to come up agains in a game. I did start a new account for a couple of hours but it only improved my figures to around 60% and i suspect it would have just dropped over time untill it hit the 52% level anyway. I think im limited to around 50% because i take alot of risky shots for peoples heads, if i miss more than 2x hell they deseve to live

Steadily increasing K/D ratio and accuracy at the moment. I love my M24, and cannot wait to try out the L96 in 1.2, have an unlock saved for it incase i can't get it straight out lol.

Damn dude you must be a pain in the arse for enemy infantry with a kpm of that with the sniper rifle!!!

i use M95 in City maps
Reason : a lot of transport vehicules that are rollin around, so i can shoot the driver out of it, and at close range the chance to get a 1 hit kill is bigger.

M24 i use when in open maps, like Kubra, Fushe, Dragon, Zatar, etc etc
that just pure for accuracy of the gun.

PLA and MEC sniper : mostly i choose the M95 but in city maps i can go for the Semi auto as well

I enjoy sniping the most by far, that bein said, I may have good #'s but I'm far from the best in the game.

In the beginning your %'s will just keep climbing with experience and memory target locations.

After a long time snipin'...Time with rifle + (the eventual desire to make THAT shot) = decreased accuracies.

Not so much, I mean aren't all of our % climbing with each day. Honestly about 2 months ago I had ~52%, until I started my love for Kubra dam..yas want to talk about some distance? That map has slowed down my drive for #1, but I don't even toss about it. The 290m-412m 'THAT' head shot will put a right smile on yer face. There's a learning curve tobesure for the 'BIG drop's' even with the m24 sometimes 2cm's above em'

I'm definately becomming a distance junky trying to push the envelope on headshots. Thankfully I'm back to almost snapshoting 300m shots all day, so Acc% just started its way out of the pub.

Tip: Be a snipe, a true A T &T man; get a partner, get on ventrillo/comms, start a squad 2 of yas. My dear friend, Books_DCDF and I can be found snipe whoring Kubra's every night  ~ mid-230amEST usa.
