My laptop just hung and i powered it off by holding the power button for 5 secs. When i turned it back on, it looks like it reformatted itself only leaving those applications previously installed. I lost all my data, my photos everything. I have no idea why. When i turned it on, it says it has to do a diskcheck which compromises of 3 steps. My file system is an NTFS file system btw. Before it hung, i was playing loud music using my laptop speakers and it seemed my hard drive light wasnt flashing, it was just lit on, meaning the whole of the hard drive was in activity. I suspect my hard drive is a lil fked up.

Ok i played the same song on my ext HDD, max volume and still the thing just lights on, but the com doesnt crash like it did. Are laptop speakers suppose to go to the max volume? When i use a headset with max volume, it doesnt happen..badhq wrote:
