Yeah.... the sideways clicks on the scroll wheel of my G5  (the 2007 one with 2 side buttons)  doesn't want to work.

It works on Excel for example but not BF2 (as in I try to assign a control to it and it doesn't do anything).

I have the 'Logitech Set Point' software that came with the mouse if that has anything to do with it.

Any help greatly appreciated.

For some reason I have never been able to assign any different keys on my G5.  All I wnt to do is assign a key to the back button on the side of the mouse.  Everytime I try to do this through setpoint it doesn't work.  It remembers the settings but BF2 doesn't seem to recognize them.  I can't update to the newest setpoint software (3.0 or 3.3) because first time I did my keyboard quit being recognized by windows and had to reformat my harddrive since the computer was password protected and I couldn't type in a password to get in.  Reformat, disable password protection and retry new setpoint software and the DPI buttons quite working properly.  Both (+) and (-) buttons would raise the DPI and I couldn't lower it.  Uninstall and reinstall software and same problem with DPI buttons.  Uninstall and reinstall original software that came with the mouse and say fuck it.  Sorry probably not much help.

Can you not select bf2 in the program box and make sure they aren't disabled in there?
