There's a few of these threads already, but we could definitely use some more (no sarcasm).

http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?id=73333  - james' orange is kickass.
http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?id=66421   - ghetto's got a nice bike.

I myself am working towards a beefy hardtail. Something I can ride trails/street/shore/anything.

I use 661 comp gloves, work a treat on those grips, in any kind of weather.

I sometimes go mountain biking, nothing to “extreme” thou.  Being that I ride a http://www.harobikes.com/bmx/bikes/backtrail_x24.php , not much of a mountain bike, but it does well.

Not a bad frame for a bit of freeride, wouldn't take my chances on the rough stuff though, far too small for my liking.

Not tried that on a bike, done it on skis though.  Was really good!  Ever rode off something into water? Thats a good laugh.  Just CHECK THE DEPTH OF THE WATER, and get off the bike mid-air, or risk losing your bollocks.

One for the seasoned DH'ers:

For this price, is it worth getting THESE forks?

I'm more into my cross country.

I ride a Specialized Hardrock, and man it's a bike and a half.

Light as hell, great components, fantastic drivetrain (Although mine is taking a battering and might need replaced)
Great bike for what I do.
