And tenaciously defending his right not be yelled at by kidnapping a replacement for the mission objective?
I wasn't there but if he did what he did, then I agree with the OP.Bubbalo wrote:

Blackbelts are just whitebelts who have never quit.
So do I, but how can you possibly support a fuck like this guy? Assuming what he did was real, which it probably was.ATG wrote:

Don't you have any feeling that this guy is a disgrace to the Marine Corps, your Armed Services, your country?

Not really.
It's a war.
Lies and disinformation are flying.
But if there had been a solid case a crime was committed he would be doing life.
When the enemy stops sawing of heads, blowing up children and using civilians clothing I will expect more stringent ROE and conduct from our troops.
I expect our men to be ruthless to the ruthless.

And to innocent people as well? That strategy hasn't worked well for Israel.ATG wrote:

Yeah except that's what they do we have to accept that and not stoop to their levels. If we're gonna do that lets just pull out because this fucking Iraq isn't worth it and we're not worth it to fix it up and neither is the deaths of so many soldiers and civilians. Let them sort this shit out.
Sure, let them sort out the mess we made.
He acted irresponsibly and stupidly. It's a disgrace he has not recieved a much harsher sentence. He should have jail time for the very fact that he tried to cover it up, let alone the actual killing.
