Test Drive Unlimited issue

Even though this is mainly a BF2/tech section I still would like for someone to help me with this issue i have with the game. This game is known for having many problems and i have searched around for someone with the same issue but it was no good. After I start the game i go and buy a house and a car and right at the 1st mission after I press start for the race i can not progress to the race.

amd FX55
2gigs ddr kingston
7900gs 512mb

That game has alot of issues. cant help you, fantastic game tho nearly completed it.

Do you CTD? What happens? Does it freeze there?

Did you patch to 1.66A?

I cant really call it freezing cause everything else works fine its just that the game will not progress to the race mission. Yes i have patch 1.66a. Could it be a graphic setting that causes an error to the game?

Weird. Try low detail and see if it will load.

Nope changing to very low graphics settings didnt help at all. The problem is very weird because the music plays cars pass by the scene i can exit the game and change in game options but i can not progress to the mission.

I can fraps the problem that i have with the game if you guys want me to.

you have to copy a folder

if u download a no DVD fix you should get it. you then copy a folder called IGE in to the Bnk folder click on euro and it is in there tell me if it works

that how i got it to work

i have a no cd patch for the game. Big J i do not understand the instructions you are trying to give me. I can find the folders.

so you have the folder called IGE from your patch and it has stuff in it ?

you copy the folder in to C:\Program Files\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk

you did put the no cd patch on right?

there is stuff in the IGE folder?

try reinstall and don't update it
