Its amazing, one of the best times I've ever had.

You'll probably get some black immigrants coming up to you asking if you want to have a good time.....dont worry, its not with them.

Follow them and they'll take you to the private clubs which are immense!

You wont really be able to find them on your own because downstairs they're just normal coffee shops, and nobody tells you whats going on upstairs.

Drinks are cheap, but don't expect it to be cheap in the clubs. A Jack and Coke will set you back about £7 - £9.

Apart from that, there's an amazing sports bar, I cant remember what its called but its in the basement of an old warehouse type thing.

Have an amzing time!

1. It looks friggin' spectacular.
2. Charles Bridge (loads of cool stuff around there - check Mission Impossible, I believe the film is, for it).
3. Try a McDonalds there. Go on. It's a lot nicer than anywhere else, I'll tell you. In the countryside (just over the border from Germany) had the best meat, but it's good in the cities as well.
4. It's fairly cheap, but even on some things.

And enjoy it (and great beer!)!!!

My school is in Prague >< (near Corinthia Hotel)

Just visit Charles Bridge, Prague Castle (one of the biggest castles in the World), Wenceslas Square and National Museum, Old Town Square with The Astronomical Clock... uhm... Czech Beer don't buy it nearby these sights because it's much more expensive than usually there.... and beware of pickpockets, because there are lot of them around these sights especially the Astronomical Clock, because everyone is watching the clock and pickpockets are making money ^^

Funnily enough I'm going there for the August bank holiday weekend. Brother was there last month - Beer = 70c - can't say fairer than that. It's probably the only reason the Czechs are ahead of the Irish in the drinking league. We pay €5 a pint, they pay 70c and they still only marginally beat us....

Just went there 2 weeks ago.

Check out the karlovy lazne club. Its got 5 stories with different music on each one. Then theres a sweet Croatian club on the other side of the river from there, cant remember the name but its made out of like scrap metal and shit, pretty cool. You going to hostels? If so theres loads of large good ones on the edge of the old town.

Its pretty cool. The clubbing sucks compared with UK though. Dont expect it to be like in UK. Didnt go to any strip clubs, we wanted to (its a must do if there) but didnt have the time. Loads of funny museums too like the sex toys museum and the torture museum.

I haven't been yet but I'd like to go. I was in the Katowice region of Poland a few weeks ago and made the short trip to the Czech border... was also supposed to fly into Prague on the 19th but got too sick in London and had to cancel plans. I'm trying to go back to Poland next May, so I'll probably drop into Prague then -- if all goes according to plan

I'm always up for trying different kinds of beer. Now I feel even more disappointed I didn't make it this time.

1. No.
2. They pretty much only do lager, which isnt beer. Its lager. Beer is "bitter" beer.

Although he is right that it is very nice. Staropramen is great and so is Zlatopramen. Along with many of the local beers it has a very good collection. But I would dispute it being the "best".

lager is beer and lager is bitter (I mean that lager has bitter taste), especially Radegast. The best Czech beers are Pislner Urquel, Gambrinus, Staropramen, Budweiser Budvar (american budweiser copies the name and is awful ), and much mooooore, I think that most Czech beers are better than in rest of world (that sounds bad but you will agree if you will try them:))...

true and true

some good beer there. a shame you couldnt go..
compared to Denmark the eastern european contries are very cheap so its always a pleasure to visit them.. + people are often more friendly and a bit more old fashioned there..

all in all, its cheap to get drunk in good beer
