I had tried beer when I was like 9-10 and really didn't like it much at all and didn't acquire the taste until about 17.
My point is underage drinking is not bad, its irresponsible drinking of any age that is a problem and those that don't drink until they are old enough and have no idea of their limits and the effects alcohol has on them are just of not a bigger problem then those that have a couple of beers at 14. I have never had a hang over, have never passed out and have only thrown up twice due to alcohol and I'm sure I could and have drunk more then most of you.

Well i first started having a drink here and there when I was about 11-12 and my family says that if you drink when youre younger theres no big rush when your 18 to rush out and get leathered.
I prefer sprits myself but you have to love magners(yay for irish cider) and scrumpy cant stand beer or lager too bitter though i will have the odd pint.
EDIT: at least with cider you dont get a beer belly.
