You got the HDD and CD Drive already?

Although a GTX might help if you go up to a 22" screen.

actually i do need a cd/dvd drive. i already have a 74 gig raptor. that gtx is tempting too...
should i get a soundcard?

You might just want a big HDD for dumping films, music and crap like that on.

I hope you're getting Vista with that.

Only get a sound card if you have amazing 5.1 or 7.1 speakers.

i think im going to stick with xp pro for now. is it really worth it to upgrade?

Well you wont get the DX10 from your card. Its up to you but I've not had a single problem with Vista.
