Seeing as though you dont have Vista, a DX10 card is going to be lost on you anyway.
What about a couple of Radeon X1950 Pro's and an upgraded PSU?
You can always get a Skt 939 AMD X2 cpu on the cheap to bump things up.

I only had £200 to upgrade my gfx card and couldn't wait to upgrade everything else so I git my 8800 gts, despite only having Athlon 3500 and I noticed no bottlenecking, obviously I will see an improvement when I upgrade but the performance I getting now will do me!leetkyle wrote:

Get something cheap but good for the graphics card and upgrade your mobo so you can get a C2D.
