i was just playing this afternoon on Sharqi Penninsula.  we had an absolute dimwit of a commander who was playing as support.  i was happily sniping away (10 and 1, by the way) and called for a supply crate when my ammo was running low, yet he ignored me.  after 5 more attempts, i called out "I need ammo," and on the mini-map, only one support troop was nearby, which happened to be the commander.  he was within running distance and hiding underneath an overhang.  so i crawled up to him and repeatedly asked him for ammo, yet he did not respond (all the while calling out "enemy infantry spotted, etc") to my requests.  so i whipped out my pistol and shot him in the leg once.  i guess that finally got his attention.  but instead of giving me ammo, he blew me away.  i was frustrated that the only way i was apparently going to get ammo was by dieing, so i punished him.

not seconds after i punished him, he's all peeved because of being punished and i'm peeved for being ignored as a squadleader.  i mean- how am i supposed to go attack that CP with no ammo?  so i find him in the same spot again and this time he's waiting for me.  without even saying anything, he blows me away again.  punished.

now he's really ticked.  we both spawn by the MEC helipad and i'm greeted with a slew of grenades.  punished again.  normally you get kicked/banned after 3 TK's, right?  i guess not on this server.  i managed to get him to TK me 4 times and i'm thinking that the 5th will finally rid the server of this idiot.  unfortunately he's friends with the admin who personally tells me to leave for being a pain in front of all the other players.  i politely tell him that this commander of our's is the one being a pain and TK'ing.  well, i guess that made the admin mad because seconds later i found myself kicked/banned.

the way i see it, this is one less server that i ever have to worry about getting to play on.

The Soup Nazi, probably the same guy I had yesterday. Running low on ammo, defending a flag, I called for resupply... nothing, called several times, still nothing. I know they have other important things to do, but seeing as it was our last flag 'on land' (Gulf of Oman), you'd think he would be more attentive. So, like* you, I shot him in the leg and was instantly killed. I didn't punish but by then we'd lost the flag and lost the game.

If you find someone like that and they're in with the Admin, there's nothing you can do, no matter what he does to you..... it sucks but that's the way they run their servers and your last comment sums it up nicely

I teamkill tardmanders.

Was playing Wake Is.  just before and as our ship was getting pwned from 43 million snipers/spec-ops. Our commander is on the mainland tanking it.

Needless to say, I spawn near him and mined his ass.  He complained about it until the rest of the team reminded him the ship is being fucked over and he's ignored it for the last ten minutes. He left the game not long after thank god.

I never call for anything except a UAV. Those boxes could be in better use then near me. I dont want to call arty cause I ALWAYS get hit by friendly arty (its a friggin curse).

And I find that 1 UAV beats the heck outta a Arty strike and Supply box .

Yeah there are some retarded commanders , like commanders who continully artillery a spawn so not even his own troops can capture it because all he cares about is points.  One server i was in i was on the road partially and crossing over and my dumbass commander side swipes me with a humvee and since i he had a mic and was tlkin alot i wondered why he didn't apalogize.  So i asked "why did you run me over?" and he responded "you ran out into the road you dumbshit".  That pissed me off because i didn't jump out of a bush and suprise him, i was allready on the road when he ran me over and i could easily be seen by passing vehicles.  I know if it were me driving i would not have been ran over.  I siad to him "stfu u dumbass it's not like i jumped out of a bush i was in the middle of the road".  So i continued playing and started to get bored and i saw my commander who had previously ran me over and i figured i'd tk him before i left.  Three MEC ran up on me so 1 shot one with my pistol then killed the other two with the pump shotgun a very dealdy weapon then i turned to my commander and executed him.  But ltr in the day when one of my friends wanted to play bf2 ,and he was telling me what server he was in, he said some dumbass ran him over, and sure enough it was the same idiot who had ran me over previously.  I move when i see som1 on the road, only way i will run them over is if they run out before i can react.

I just got out of a Night Flight game.  I spent the round going after the enemies southern base. (I'm SAS - Spec Ops kit)  I make it to their resources and we cap the flag.  My commander is standing behind a supply drop the enemy laid on the UAV trailer to repair it.  (I've blown it up once already)  I proceed to ignore the trailer and blow up the radar, and both the Arty cannons (1 is already smoking) then I come back around to the trailer.  Comm is still there, so I reload all my C4 and then tell him "move out" so I can blow up the trailer.  nothing..... I try again.  This time he lays down next to the trailer, on my C4.

So I type it out to him. nothing still....
This goes on for two minutes of game time.  Me, hopping around infront of him, dropping c4 all around him, comma rose the trailer for "Destroy", "Move out", typing it in manually, nothing.  I wasted so much time that the enemy capped the base and shot us both from the roof.  I got so frustrated that I just left. I'm a patient kinda guy, but this nimrod got us both killed and for some reason he really seemed to get under my skin.
Whew, glad there is a thread for the idiotic commanders that we meet.

Well, I must admit that he should have given you a supply.

I once was the Commander on Wake and this one guy was on the USarty and kept asking for supplies at their arty for taking it out. Although we didn't receive any arty at all he kept asking for it although the supplies were really needed where the real fighting was going on (since we didn't receive any enemyarty).
First he tryed a mutiny which didn't work because I had some good squads, then he tryed to get me kicked...
He ended up saying that he'd report it to an admin...Then I got tired of him and dropped a supplydrop.....on him 8)

Or when the Commanders are flying a jet THINKING they are doing a good job when the infantry is waiting for the UAV for 20 minutes OR the UAV is way over yonder, Flying Commanders are extremely selfish; haven't met a good one yet and the one's that think you are, you're not; you need to stay on the ground and see for yourself.

Or when I am commander and all my assets are destroyed because everyone wants to stay at the first flag (Karkand) and someone asks for supplies while I am repairing shit with crates and wrench and get mad because I got killed by all the people destroying shit because I used scan and no one helped me take on 5 guys. They don't see that we have no assets. (Also on Wake;Chinese side)

I know what you mean imdead. I had the same thing last Tuesday. No one took the commanderpart on the MECside so I decided to take it, just as I was blowing up the bridge on Karkand because I hadn't gotten commander yet, there allready was an enemyjeep there which took my mainbase in 1 minute and no-one was trying to help out untill after 4 minutes some people finally realized that we allready had lost the base and all of it's assets...

Can't argue on that.
But i disagree a little bit. Myself being a good gunner, often hitch a ride as gunner while being commander.
You can easily perform you commander duties when sitting with a good pilot (ie copter or plane).

I'm regularly commander at the moment because I wanna get the 10000 points for expert command...

Anyways,it isn't always the commander who messes up a match and yet he always gets the mis-credit in form of a mutiny(which never succeeds anyway,hehe..).

My usual response to a mutiny is this:
"Hey,how about getting some work done,then we can talk about mutiny,lame-ass team..."

The whole team is nearly always a bunch of retards or planewhores who camp on the carrier but complains about the commander,always the same...and it seems that some guys really expect the commander to command them,I expect a good squadleader to know where to attack or when to call out for supplies,I'm always there for them,all they gotta do is ask.

But there are some nice exceptions from the crappy team which I treat exceptionally, for example jetpilots who request orders are always pointed in the right direction by me and get targets spotted all the time,squads who capture strategic important (or just abandoned) flags always get my full support(UAV+supplies),engineers who automatically repair assets without me giving them the orders are always commended.

I think my commanding style is very efficient,the only drawback is that the squads have to use their brains too....

And to guys who start a mutiny against a commander(who's basically doing his job) only because the team sucks and loses the round: The commander is only as good as his army.( -->His score is the average of all other players )

Only a dumbass brings a knife to a gun fight.  I sure seem to have a lot a of guys come at me with knives, and I don't know if it is because they are trying to their basic knife badge, or out of ammo, but they lose that battel a lot more often than they win.

Yeah, but in this case the commander was also support, and right next to him. Whenever someone asks for ammo while I am support, I give them 3 bags of it.

Dying also means a lost ticket against your team because some asshat with the ability to give you ammo won't do it.

Look, I understand the guy was a douche, and i used to get so pissed that ammo dude was standing right next to me without giving me ammo that I would TK him, now I just use all my ammo, and if i am still alive, I try to steal a vehicle, or take a flag with my knife.....its worth a shot and has been sucessful a few times.  As for "tickets,"  you ain't helping either by laying there not shooting anyone and begging for ammo.

I also find if you're out of ammo, it's usually not too hard to find another kit laying around and just switch up . . .
