I didnt know whether to put this in other titles or tech, but I decided on tech.
So I installed the game and when I double click, the mini screen with the Battle for Middle Earth pops up, but just stays there. My system specs are 2 GB of ram, core duo running at a 3.6, and a radeon x600, which are all above the minimum requirements.
Can someone please help me with this?
also, my pc runs 2142 completely fine, so thats why I'm confused/having problems.

What resolution is your monitor set at?  Sometimes that creates problems for me - try googling how to force a resolution if yours is too high for the game to allow normally

well, I was looking around online, and they say to use it on 1024 X 768 or higher, and right now I am running 1280 X 1024. I tried it on 1024 X 768, didnt work, and then on 800 X 600, and it didnt work. I'd appreciate the help

ok, and now I have a new problem. When I double click, nothing happens, the loading screen doesnt even come up now. The only thing I did was to check for updates through the link on the start menu, because I was trying to get on the latest patch. I dont know if where the patch downloaded etc or any of that. I am really in need of help.

I think you should probably find another isengardhordes.ini file from someone else with the game. Either replace the ini file or the line causing the problems; 124. Good luck.

4 CDs? Why not get the DVD?

This happened to me with bfme2 but once I set it to run in emulation for XP SP2 it worked. So I don't know what could be wrong if you're not on vista.

I bought it - and I'm on Vista.  I can click play and everything then theres an image that takes up the middle of the screen, then it goes away and another one comes up and it gets frozen on that (they are similar to the Battlefield image/logo that comes up after you start BF2).
Is there any way to get past these screens and straight into the game?  Any help on getting this to work?

Well, I just exchanged the game for another one. So hopefully that'll work out for me.
