That's actually pretty scary though, I didn't think anyone would be dedicated/fanatic enough to go after someone after a fight on the Internet. Makes you wonder how far people will go to get things done.

Given all the people I've flamed and harassed on CS:S over the years, I think it'd be wise for me to stock up on guns. Lots of them.
Well, I don't know the whole story behind that, but he did have his address posted in a public website. Not a whole lot of hacking was required to find him. Internet squabbling is like telephone arguments; same sort of medium, just more content.

Seriously though. You would be surprised how easy it is to find someone in this day and age. Long time ago, a friend of mine go into it with someone on the net. Somehow, they got his phone number and started making death threats over the phone. My friend is a very private person, he won't even post a picture of himself any where and is a huge computer guru. Anyhow, nothing came of it but honestly, it is really not that hard for someone who is truly motivated to seek someone out, even if you know him through the net.
By the way...the idiot who threatened my friend called from a friend's cell phone and forgot to block his number...so it was pretty easy to find out who was making the calls....LOL
