There's no other option, so you have to pick out of that list, which one do you pick? Why? Give examples. Flame at your discretion.

Null vote. It would be a terrible thing to vote on basis of religion of candidates, so long as their religion is not taking the up the primary thinking in their decision making processes. They've been elected to make decisions for the people who put that person into office, and one should definately not use a political position as a place to force their religious beliefs upon others.
non-religious conservative. If there's such a thing. The Conservative party seems to be like that though, so i'll probably vote for them whenever the election is. Of course, at the end of the day it's what their policy's are rather than who they are.
Even though I tend to go down a Liberal-ish stance on things, sometimes it's too much. We've had too much of this Labour PC stuff.
Looking at the Republican Party in the US. It's....just messed. Nothing like conservatism, just a bunch of Christian nutjobs. I feel sorry that you don't have a decent party there. I mean, neither do we....but your parties are shite.

Atheist Liberal... But hey, that's never gonna happen... lol (not an openly atheist president at least)
I would guess most politicians of either side are probably atheists, but they don't openly say this, because it would be political suicide. It would be like admitting that you're gay.
While everyday society doesn't seem to have too much of a problem with atheists or gays in America, I'd say we still have prejudice against electing them.

Null vote.
Atheist would be good. But a religious president who does not let religion interfere would be fine.
Personally I'd rather see a conservative (a proper one who spends less - not like any Republicans we've seen in the past 30 years) in power in the US, but one who does not believe in so much military intervention and does believe in downsizing the US military. All this overspending is disasterous. I'd like to see US debt reduced and the US economy picking up and performing as it could if managed properly.
It doesn't really make much difference whether they are liberal or conservative, religious or not - so long as religion does not influence them in any way and so long as their first responsibility is to the economy and standard of living of US citizens, rather than the desires of lobbyists.
