Exactly,,,and as I have stated over and over and over again...which you apparently don't take time to read...that the American government does turn a blind eye to what is going on in Saudi Arabia and my MAIN point over and over and over again that many other countries do the same thing over and over and over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I repeat for the fucking millionth time..........I am not naive to have tunnel vision and focus on a few countries as you continually do, mainly, U.S. and Israel. These two countries probably make up about 95 percent of your posts and it is quite obvious that you are so left wing, single minded that you can NOT see anything else. This post was posted because it shows that there are some good things for ONCE....and I stress ONCE...so how does this post say to you that I condone the other things Saudi Arabia does??? A very generalized and again single minded focus on what I am saying. OPEN YOUR FUCKING EYES!!
You never answered my fucking question though. Is it so hard just to say - 'Yes, I think we should intervene in Saudi Arabia to prevent and stop human rights abuses' or 'No, I don't think we should'. It's not exactly very difficult. At most all you have to type is three letters. You seem to be doing all that you can to avoid exposing the double standard with respect to Iran.
I KNOW THE US AND EVERY OTHER WESTERN NATION TURNS A BLIND EYE TO SAUDI ARABIA. I am asking YOU whether YOU think the west should intervene. It's quite an important thing that needs to be clarified in the arguments we have been having. All you have to do is state your opinion on the two following things:
a) Should the west intervene in Iran to address human rights abuses there?
b) Should the west intervene in Saudi Arabia to address human rights abuses there?

Secondly, I didn't know I had to answer the almighty Cam in these forums. Is there a rule stating that? I must have missed it. I do not troll these forums as much as you do....not even close!!!....I couldn't even begin to keep up with the amount of posts and time you spend on these forums. I do have time...but not THAT MUCH TIME. I, honestly have nothing more to say to you because it is absolutely useless to even try to argue anything with you because you think you have ALL the answers. Even when a post of positiveness is irresistible to you to derail is some shape or form. It is useless to even try to argue with you because even when I have agreed with you before...you somehow find a way to point out something else to argue about...EVEN WHEN I AGREED!!...How moronic is that!!
Hey if you want to cop out of an argument with the playground 'I'm not speaking to you anymore' or 'you spend too much time on the forum' then that's fair enough. Personally I don't think dodging my question and the point contained therein does any of your arguments any justice, but it's a free world and you are quite entitled to keep your mouth shut.
Like I said DBY - please refer to the dictionary definition of 'debate' as in 'debate and serious talk'. You expect to post something on D&ST and to not have it critically appraised? Please...

There comes a point and time where my time becomes a little more important than to argue with a pompous, egotistical, know-it-all that is truly obsessed with a debate forum. A person who is so closed minded that he can not even control himself over a post dedicated to the American soldiers who fight in Iraq. Who will at every turn have an answer, or an excuse to avoid even looking like you may not have the answer. I could care less how much you think you know about the past, how much you may or may not travel...I am 37 years old and I have lived 2 lifetimes compared to most people I know and have experienced things I am sure is even beyond your comprehension. I have experienced life and death face to face, have married into another culture (Muslim) and changed alot of minds because of that experience. I have lived life poor, hit rock bottom and pulled myself out of situations that I know that you have never been a part of.
Spare us the violins. You think you're the only guy in the world who's had it tough? The relevance any of that has to addressing questions or retorts on a debate forum is minimal at best. If you don't like debating then WHY post on a DEBATE forum? Perhaps it is not for you, eh?

You see Cam, you will get all torn up about all this stuff, tell everyone here that you have the answers, try to force people to think like you think.
I don't have any answers and people are free to read and interpret my posts in whatever way they see fit, whether that be in agreement, disgust, anger or enlightenment. This is a FORUM. Forums are where people air DIFFERENT opinions. If you find the opinions of one person all the way over here in Ireland so distressing then perhaps forums are not your thing. I though the US was all about 'Freedom of Speech' no?

But I am extremely happy being who I am and if I die tomorrow, I will know that I have helped a lot of people, that I helped the poor, that I actually got OUT of the house and touched lives in many ways with my volunteer work and my money.
As will I. You sound like you should be sainted. I'll fax Pope Benedict the canonisation papers tomorrow. Relevance? What the fuck are you talking about? I THOUGHT THIS WAS ABOUT SAUDI ARABIA.
PS If you think I don't leave the house then I suggest you to a search for my extensive catalogue of travel pictures.

I come from a great family and I would never want to live anywhere else in the world but where I live now. America is a great place, pretty much has anything anyone can want.
Good for you. Most people are proud of where they come from. Relevance to Saudi Arabia?

My government, no matter how corrupt you believe it is, doesn't control the person I have become. So Cam, you can go take your bullshit somewhere else until you learn that the whole world doesn't revolve around you. You have become a broken record, one of the biggest I have heard in my life...seriously, that is the truth. A broken record I wish to no longer hear....like a scratching chalk board. You got OLD really quick.
Hey man - I'm not asking you to read my fucking posts. You seem pretty darned sensitive about anything that does not conform to your own worldview - something you accuse me of. Like I said perhaps forums where you hear viewpoints that are contrary to your own are not the place for you.

One last thing...I believe that you are probably the single most negative person I have ever run into in my life. Honestly, I don't keep company with people like that. I surround myself with people who see the bigger picture, who see the good in people no matter where they are from and who give of themselves regardless of their situation or standing in society.
Relevance to Saudi Arabia? What is this obsession you have with 'standing in society', 'doing the right thing', 'charity', 'volunteer work', etc? Why do I need to know this? I give to charity myself but it doesn't fill up two paragraphs of every post I make.

Well, enough of my rant...time to move on...literally. I am just about done building my second home and its time to get back to the grind stone. I have been here a short time and I think it is long enough. So long guys have fun and I sincerely hope that some of you will take the time spent on these forums and give it to someone else who may really need it. It sure is a lot more satisfying than this. Good luck and to the guys on this forum who served in Iraq....thanks and it is appreciated. Keep my friend who gave his life in Iraq in your minds when some of the bullshit is spewed in here. He was a better man than a lot of people here...including me.
RIP to your friend. And catch you later - I'll miss your hypocrisy, point-dodging, illogicality, double standards and inability to accept any form of criticism whatsoever or to address counterpoints.
