BF2S Forums Promotion to First Sergeant

You have to have had all of the basic badges before you gained your 20,000th point.  Since you did not have them all when you were promoted to Master Sergeant, you cannot be promoted to First Sergeant.

Well, it's nice to see a new member. If you have 20k points and the badges you need, you get promoted to First Sergeant. If you do not have the badges you need b the time you have 20k points, you become Master Sergeant. Sorry, but no First Sergeant for you.

Yup. It feels like you'll be a first sergeant forever. Its such a huge gap. It took me about a year to get to first sergeant. And then it was the summer hols before of my last year of school, and i played it quite a lot. By the end of the holidays i was nearly ready to rank up again.

Then i had uni and i could only play in the weekends (I hated not having internet in the halls), and eventually got up to 2nd Lieutenant, and then 1st and then Captain.

However the worst gap by far was the First Sergeant one. Its just horrible .

god i hated that, especially when i started getting pretty good at 40k and doing better than Colonels and stuff, but then i was still a "noob"
