ok when i load up bf2 and i press to connect to account server it takes forever. Not only does it take 5 minutes when its done it automatically connects me to a server? does anyone else have this same problem

i tryed delteting my account and logging again but samething stills happens its very annoying

Your probably opening up BF2 using the option (and/or icon) that says "Play BF2 Now" - Which is programmed to connect and join a random server immediately. I suggest launching BF2 via the normal BF2 icon, lacking the words play now...Or by launching the BF2.exe manually by navigating to it using the run command or Windows Explorer. (Two BF2 icons should have been placed on your desktop during install, one that launches BF2 to BFHQ, allowing you to choose server to join, and one that picks for you...and takes quite a long time)

I kinda wondered the same thing when I first started playing, then I noticed two BF2 icons and bingo...the other one was better
