Basically, if I want the MP7, do i have to unlock the Jackhammer first? or if I unlock the Jackhammer, will I automatically get the mp7? or are those 2 different unlocks?

both're different unlocks. you don't have to unlock one to get the other.
then how come i can't unlock the mp7 right now, but i can the jackhammer.

You have to unlock the BF2 Kit equivalent, before you can unlock the same SF Kit unlock.
