How do I get a video I made onto youtube ? I tried to upload mine and the first one said it was to big so I shortend it and the 2nd time it says needs to be different format or something along those lines. How can I change it to jpeg or mpeg for an example.

by the way I have windows vista 32 bit.

You can get converters on hte net i think....but there is also a way you can do it without downloading anything. Try leetkyle and his tech buddies.

on you tube your vid can be max 10 min but to get your vid from media player too you tube you first must save your vid on your computer and normally he saved it in a wav file or something then you can upload him on you tube without problems

Movie maker has built in compression options (that suck of course). One of them should be labeled for internet upload. Also, don't use youtube (quality sucks), use stage6 or something else.

how do I do that ? I tried playing it in windows media player and that's about all it would let me do.

With WMM:
File --> Publish Video --> For My Computer.

Provided its under 10mins and 100MB, Youtube should allow it. My movies have always been published as .wmv straight from WMM so I dont see what the problem is.

ok I figured out how to get it onto youtube. The process is taking forever why is that or is this common ?

Youtube takes a long time to validate it. It'll pop up in 10-20 hours.

Or just 20 minutes. Depends on thier traffic.
