and sometimes after awhile it will do that BEEP thing and then it goes black and nothing happens
and then another time i got the blue screen.

there's your problem
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Tried a system restore and a virus scan (not Norton)? Edit: Norton could actually be trying to make sure you are safe on the internet or whatever, try disabling it!

Check out the event viewer to see where the error is.

I'd boot into Safe Mode (F8) and check it out that way. You may have driver issues or something worse.

OK, it could be a virus/spyware/etc, so do give your system a good scan with whatever your favourite suite of anti-badness-tools is (I recommend Norton AV for frontline AV scanning, then a combination of AdAware, SpyBot, and the MS anti-malware, but ymmv), but you might also want to double check your system temps - how hot are the CPU and GPU running?

AdAware, SpyBot, and the MS anti-malware is beginner-antiware

Try SuperAntiSpyware, Trend Microscan (cleans everything if there is anything) and AVG AntiSpyware

If you have to use an antivirus you shouldn't use a computer at all.

Anti-Virus' don't just take out Viruses. They also take out cookies which may have found their way into your system. I just use Ad-Aware Personal and it does the job perfectly. Made my life a lot simpler, too!

I personally favour the 'attack on all fronts' approach to Anti-Virus/Spyware/Etc - don't just rely on one 'tried and tested' package - different breeds of Anti-Whatever software all work in slightly different ways and have different success rates at both detecting and fixing different species of threat.

Yes, they take out your RAM. I used to use windows without any antivirii at all, I don't know what sites/programs you use, but again, if you have to use an antivirus to feel secure then you shouldn't use a computer, or at least the internetz.

For a more serious answer you need to count the "beeps" you are getting.  It should be a series of long and short beeps.  Then you can do a search for it to find out what is wrong.  Sometimes it is as simple as reseating the RAM and vid card.
