You haven't really provided me with any sort of clue you know what you're talking about, but in any case, privatization is far more efficient than socialization of things; if there is no competition, what prevents prices from being jacked up even higher, shitty customer service, shitty everything to be frank?
It's the idea of companies competing with one another that lowers prices, and thus produces higher standards that customers with who don't value one company as highly as another can move on, and see what the next company has to offer.
And FYI: That's not inefficient/efficient, that's called expensive. How much it costs has nothing to do with how fast/well it gets built. To give you some thread of credibility, I suppose you meant inefficient spending of money, and yes, the government always spends money, which is why I'd like to keep as little as possible out of their grasp, so thanks for proving another point.

These two wars have some similarities, but also quite a few differences. The main difference, aside from the obvious geographical ones, is that Vietnam was a village-oriented society (I say was b/c I'm not familiar with the state of its modern society) whereas Iraq is a city-oriented society. Another is that in Iraq there are 2 separate civil wars occurring at the same time, the first being the pro-government vs. the anti-government war and the second being the sunni vs. shi'ite war, although really I suppose the former has taken a back seat to the latter as there is nearly zero confidence in the Iraqi government among the Iraqi population. Another key difference is that, at least from all the evidence I've seen, the Vietcong shadow government was much better organized and developed than that which has been employed by the Iraqi Insurgents, although this hasn't impeded the insurgents due to the counterproductive tactics utilized by US forces in this war (torture, mass-arrests, hostage-taking, etc). Basically, this all boils down to the conclusion that Iraq is more complicated than Vietnam was.
Really, in my opinion, the war in Afghanistan shares far more resemblances to that in Vietnam than Iraq, as it shares the aforementioned similarities with Vietnam
