You pad you get reset dont start blaming EA for your errors...

yeah, that suxorz. i think @ some pt, everyone has exploited the game, esp. before 1.12, like with ammo packs and health packs. thing is, it's not very fun to do it the entire round, so i never got into it.

Fella's just go to www.bf2rankedservers.com and read the threads, it says why each was reported to EA. There are a number of reasons a person could be reported, from visual evidence of using hacks/exploits to stats values that are way outside the norm, but know that they are thoroughly investigating everyone that is reported.

I'll bet that if a group of you sat down and looked at the top 100 players in BF2 right now you guys could conclude, based on the evidence at hand, that 50% padded at one time or another. And it only takes one instance of cheating to earn a reset.

And Indianscout is just the messenger (an overworked messenger at that), EA does the final investigation and reset.

Just my thoughts, I'll return you to your regularly scheduled programming now...

OMG! EA sucks. When I'm looking at VeNg3nCe^'s stats I can't see anything weird in there. Favourite victim is killed 19 times which is simply possible while raping (which is not reason to reset stats). He's best round is 411 in Mashtuur with USMC which was also simply possible before patch (you can still get 200-300 pnts/rnd in Mastruur with BH). Some one called him TKer (for chopper) here in forums of BF2s but so what? There's still just over 2000 TKs with over 1000 hrs which mean 2/hour so under 1/round which can easily happen anyways while commander or playing in Karkand and I'm sure that EVERY top chopper player are doing the same (including me). So basicly I can't see ANY reason to reset his stats so EA SUCKS ! 1st they make global rank system so people who is good player and play much, can be in top in that global rank list. And after some one is too good they reset him/her stats, seriously. If they ever never will reset my stats (which shouldn't happen but EA sucks and no one know what they will do) I won't play this game in public anymore.

well honestly he got what he deserved. i mean the man was obviously stat padding. he had the all the expert knife and ordanance badga i know he might be good but come on man get off his D!@k... he got what he deserved im not one to complain i never expected to reach number one but its annoying when you trying to win the round and theres a stat padder or a hacker in the map and hes messing up the tickets so he can get his point.... Too bad they dont reset everyone who gets reported to BF2RS even with enough proof. They seem to concentrate on the top players.
A few weeks ago I reported a group of guys with screenshots of them killing and reviving each other. All of them got a favourite victim with ~80 kills.......They are still padding so I sometimes search for them via gamemonitor and kill them with arty.

you have it quite opposite, we hardly ever reset top ranked players, that comes from EACS, and not us..

OK, this is getting a little old. We don't know the circumstances for why someone's stats were wiped. I would bet that 98% of the people this happens to have it coming. There are some issues with the scoring system being bugged. But I think it's a small fraction.

EA has more resources to review someone's profile. We only have stat sites like bf2s.com to go by. Not exactly bullet proof convictions.

Just a note to everyone, the BF2RS website is only a place to report statpadder/bad severs etc, they only pass the info on, so dont flame Indian (or the BF2SR site), i think its good that he came to this site to explain things to us, nice to have someone on the site that has stuff to do with EA

I'm not trying to get into an argument, but I wasn't padding then and never have, bodycarver is just an idiot, look at all his posts on BF2RS and you should get the picture. If that was the reason why did they wait so long? All my BRS were from BH'ing pre 1.03. I wish I had a response from EA, but I didn't even get an email I guess i'll never make the officer ranks again even with lowered req's. All the more reason to play mods and not buy dozens of booster packs I guess.

EA better start resetting some people's statistics. THey haven't done much in the way of punishing stat padders. It would be cool if they had a Hall of Shame or something for the noobs who cheat and exploit the game.

So kind for IndianScout to grace us with his prescence. Screenshots seem required as proof. Why can't you go by player stats like very high favorite victims kills in a round (i.e. > 100)? That is not even possible even if spawn raping on ranked servers with a minimum amount of players to start a round.

edit: or even favorite victim IAR > 200 or 300, these players exist
