An amazing stepping on the Core 2 Duo processor that grants you 3.8GHz+ on air cooling. Look in the Overclock News section; there are 3 or 4 reviews on the E6750 which has the G0 Stepping.
Is it a new type of chip? Or technology/software for new chips?

I'm thinking of getting a Q6600, but should I wait untill this is out? and is this out? and if not when will it be and where can I buy it? (in UK)

If memory serves me right, stepping is some term in regards to how it was manufactured... I think a manufacturing number on the metal part of the chip... sorry for the vague description.

g0 is the newest batch of C2Ds. Lower power consumption than the old B3. Stepping = version number

Every new chip is a G0 stepping I believe.

The E6x50s have G0 stepping guarenteed. I don't think that the Q6600 has it.

Most of the current Q6600 UK stock is B3 not G0. OC UK have the G0 on pre order. If you definately want G0 stepping then you would need to check with retailer that they have that stock or wait a couple of week when hopefully most places should have G0 stepping. (I am waiting)
