Hmm... I have used it a little over 500 times. Just to get my Expert Badge
a measly 2022 here... When a regualar round gets boring I try to see how far i can go and not touch the ground...

You can't get a kill with the zipline. You can only get deaths while wielding the crossbow.
(That's where I got mine from, trying to shoot people in the head when I didn't know it better.)
I don't know if there is some situation where you can get a zipline kill message ingame due to that bug.
(Similar to how you can get a grappling hook kill message.)

I think it counts zip line death while wielding a crossbow and while we slide down it. I tried a few times to kill someone with it, but it was just at the beginning of my SF time
Zipline only 755 and looking at my stats i noticed i can't use the grapple anymore i wanna keep my nice round number of 999 usage.

I think I've gotta be the definitive zipline whore. I've got 5,356 on my main account for about a third of your time in SF and less than half the time with the zipline in the hand. And people think I overuse claymores ROFL
