Anybody in here know how I can go in and clean out all the crap in my system that seems to randomly start running when I start my computer? I've got a pile of shit like iTunes, and I don't even HAVE an iPod. I know I can go to Add / Remove Program but that doesn't seem to cut the mustard. Some of that shit doesn't even show up in Add / Remove.

Surely there's somewhere in my computer I can go in my computer to AT LEAST keep this stuff from running when I start my computer.

Any tips would be GREATLY appreciated.

If you want to stop applications from running from start up you can go to start - run - msconfig but be careful of what your stopping and it can cause problems of you stop the wrong process

Try and find all related stuff in Add / Remove programs. Then go to My Computer > The C: Drive > Program Files > Then delete all the folder related to it. Last check my documents and delete the things in Start Menu > All programs.

If that doesn't work just use a program. Hmm looking through all programs in the start menu there's one that's called startup. Also in iTunes and some other programs you can choose whether to have them start up or not .
