amd fx-55
500w PSU

my question:  if i add another raptor and a 320 GB hard drive, will my power supply be enough to power all this?

what's your make and model of the PSU?

Ie. if it's a well-branded then yes, if not ... then no

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'.
