I was playing on warlord tryin to get my basic knife badge manage to get 4 kills, but what I enjoyed the most was when an enemy sniper saw I had my knife out so he took his out and excepted the challenge to a dam good knife fight, I also got a good knife fight with an anti soldier on sharqi.

Why don't more players do this rahter than shooting on sight someone carrying a knife, during the knife fight the heart was overloading but wow great fun.

So everyone playing battlefield 2 or special forces should if challenge by a knife welding maniac except and enjoy the kill much better than just blasting head off.

Thats happened to me a lot, it seems there is some sort of unofficial ettiqute. it is really fun having a knife fight that is legit - none of these stat padding ones.

I like knife fights too, but usually if i see some guy coming at me with a knife ill just put a few bullets in him and get on with whatever I was doing. Much faster.

i just did my basic knife also and i enjoyed the times when the opponent grabbed his knife and fought me , i also learned how fast you can kill with a knife .

yes, i had a c4 tosser even put his detonator away once and whip out his knife to fight me when i ran outta ammo on my jackhammer, i coudlent beleive my eyes lol.

Yeah, I usually pull the machete out when I see another person wield thiers but I get blasted by one of thier comrades that don't give a crap killing his teammate and myself...it's all about the stats I guess.

hehe i love knife fights. But i blow their heads off when they come at me with a knife, thats not a challenge! Thats a threat!

I do, however, get my knife out when the enemy does. But i hate it when some dickhead ruins it for you. Like in Mashtuur, i was having a knife fight with an American sniper. And his 'buddy' comes up in a vehicle, slams into the wall and ends up taking out his 'buddy'.

Geez people. Let us knifers be.

you no wats funny i was on a rooftop snipin with my scar l when i turned arond to see a soldier about 4 metres away charging at me with hes knife.. i pumped him full of lead and felt so guilty so then wen i seen him again i whiped out my knife to show i accepted the challange... and then he pulled out hes gun an shot me point blank in the face

or another funny time me and this sniper where climbing a building togather i was a little infront of him an wen we got up the top i noticed a enamy soldier i was lookin at him.. then lookin at my sniper an quikly repeated the motion as if i was letting him hgave the kill he gladly accepted and then thanked me.. nice guy

If you see me and run at me with a knife and i shoot you down i apologize.. usually i shoot first and ask questions later. if i recognize the knife in time I will whip it out and give you a show But trying to get the knife badge i understand what knifing is about and it's hell of a lot of fun.. forget points for a while and just try it, you will get a nice little rush..

I would have shot you. Only because I shoot first, then worry about thier weapon. Especialy as a sniper. Thier are mainly 2 things I am concerend with. A ghillie suit and a large rocket launcher on your back. Either one tells me, kill this person first.

Every one else, I just shoot in the head before even stoping to look at what weapon they have.

I have enjoyed the few knife fights I have had, but for me thier quite rare. Knives I do not commonly use if my oponet can see me.

One time I was totally out of ammo on Oman and I ran up to a enemy flag attempting to cap it with only my knife, 2 enemy soldiers spawned and saw i was wielding a knife, they both pulled out their blades and it was a 2 on 1 knife fight, I wasted both of them and got the flag. I had a lot of respect for both players and I let both of them know it, they both responded with.......great fight, and Good Times Man!
