Hello ... PoE2 medics are same as vanilla medics , they just don't have nades and carry carbine instead of assault rifle . Healing\reviving is the same ..Sup wrote:
You should play POE2 then. Go, go, go...
What's wrong with the medics? Seems the last few games I've played everyone is a sniper, AT or chicken strangler (myself included )...

yes , M16A4 is an assault rifle , my mistake ( forgot about it ) .
Play Project Reality, medics can no longer throw medic packs on the ground for others to pick up. You have to have the medic pack held in your hands and you have to hold down the primary fire button to heal friendlies and you have to be next to him to heal him/her. It also takes a while for a friendly to get back to full health. Reviving can take a while if the body is "stuck" in the ground, then you have to throw a field dressing on him and then revive him. The defibrillators also have a battery life so you can only revive, I think, six soldiers. After you run out of battery, then you have to find a resupply area to get batteries again and after every charge, it takes a while to charge back up again, it has to "reload" to say.

I think a bag of medicine shouldn't heal a person to full health. That's plain stupid.

i think u should piss of back to PR
Whats the big deal?, most medics dont heal teammates anyway, they only play the kit so they can heal themselves and stretch out their kill streaks.
Yes, medics should probably heal slower, and yes, medics shouldn't have unlimited revive power, and yes they probably should have weaker guns, and yes snipers should probably have less claymores, and yes claymores should be destructible, and every unfair aspect about every single kit has been discussed thousands of times by people who have been killed by them all to often.
People need to have their stats in their profile because honestly you're not allowed to bitch about any type of infantry if more than 60% of your kills are in a vehicle.
A sniper with his most used equipment being claymores doesn't have a right to bitch either.

And we all know how smart are authors of some wikipedia's articles , right ?
both G36K and AKS-74U are carbines
G36K(utrz) - shortened version of G36 assault rifle - carbine , in other words
AKS-74U - shortened version of AKS-74 assault rifle - carbine .
A carbine is a firearm similar to, but generally shorter and less powerful than, a rifle or musket of a given period. There have been many carbines developed from rifles, being essentially shorter rifles firing the same ammunition, although usually at a lower velocity, and there have also been many where the carbine and rifle adopted by a particular nation were not technically related, such as using completely different ammunition or internal operating systems (though the carbine still being weaker, or of smaller size). Which may be more common, depending on the time period.

Yeah, thats what the system is like in PR and it works quite well. A lot more realistic as well.RECONDO67 wrote:
I feel that a medic should not be allowed to revive a head shot victim(specially from a .50 cal shot)
you know what...i want the semi-auto .50 cal like the guy on future weapons so its like a .50 cal SVD

lol Easiest solution. Give medics shittier weapons. Strap them with submachine guns instead of assault rifles that half the time are even better then the assault kit's. But hey I know that wont happen and there will be a great uproar of all the medic whores when their assault/healing kit gets reduced to a self-defence/healing kit.
You seem to find wiki valid source to argue with me so I throw you a link from it ( in case you trust it more then my words ).Sup wrote:

The new Assault Rifle G36 is a completely new modular weapon system in calibre 5.56 mm x 45 NATO. It is constructed almost entirely of a tough, glass fibre reinforced polymer material.

Yeah yeah , but medics in PoE2 are issued fucking G36K , not full length G36 assault rifle.Sup wrote:

Medics can keep your squad and team alive in the thick of battle. With anti squad hoping features in place, its vital to keep
your men alive on the front lines, especially a squad leader.

lol I could careless. I dont bitch about infantry. I dont have to, I can play infantry as well as I can play vehicles. I think it would change the game dynamic a bit if we saw this kind of change in the game ofcourse this will never happen but I would be interested in seeing how people would adapt. I already know there would be a great uproar of whinny bishes but it would be interesting to see how much people would still play medic and how much more the other classes would be utilizied. Only thing that really vexes me is claymores in infantry which are used as cheap weapons.BolvisOculus wrote:

This sounds alot like my "Aircraft should land to rearm" thread.
I gotta say I'm happy with the medic situation as it is. Still gettin my arse blown up by too many jets though.

In PR you have to land your jet/helicopter to rearm. Though that has probably been said in your thread.markzed wrote:

That gives me an idea.
medics should have to carry people to there main base to revive them.
