everytime i have cheese on toast or pizza, its always greasy and i think.. thats not gona be real good for me. but i assume that whether its grilled or not its still got the same about of "grease" in it right? it wouldn't make a difference whether or not it was grilled in terms of health. but why does it always feel worse (not taste ) to eat it grilled. or am i wrong? and it is actually worse?
Strange boy...
its not strange. i want to know if its worse or the same. it doesn't look good for you. but if its no different from not grilled. then i'll grill it.
someone is worried alot about there grease ratio to cheese intake.
G/C ratio : 1.5
G/C ratio : 1.5
when u heat cheese is mutates into more of a sulfer based product than cheese, it is highly toxic and if nurtured will eventualy grow arms and legs
You think too much. Just eat the cheese. Eventually you'll die anyway, so enjoy life while it lasts.
cheese is made from milk. it doesn't have any greese. it just melts, and it seems greasy. i think. i'm pretty sure.
It is grease.Ender2309 wrote:

Cheese has milk fat in it - that grease you see is solid when in normal cold cheese. Leave cheese in the hot sun, or cook it, and surprise it melts and is greasy. Yes a lot of cheese with a lot of grease is bad for you. Yes it tastes good, because its loaded with fat. Eat a little bit, but don't load on it or your stomach will misbehave accordingly. Eat a lot of cheese regularly and high fat dairy products, and you will have heart problems. How do I know this? My family is Finnish - check their heart problem statistics.
Enjoy the cheese though - it is a good source of protein, just don't eat too much of it at once. Also, cheese apparently combines with wine with some good benefits if you dig up some (legitimate) studies. But that doesn't mean four glasses of wine and half a block of cheese, that means one glass of wine and a little slice of cheese for desert etc.

What type of cheese are we talking here?
...pretty much all cheeses have fats. Saturated fats turn into liquid when they're heated over room temperature. At normal temperatures, they're solid.DesertFox- wrote:

Brie ftw btw
Brie FTL, mature cheddar FTW.
and wensleydale but not so much for grilling.

Dear God please let my karma one day reach 100, whether it be tomorrow or 1000 years in the future i want it to happen.
Drain the grease. It's healthier, plus you get the added benefit of using the remaining grease to mold into a cheese penis. Even if you decide to not make a mold, perhaps the cheese grease will congeal into the face of Jesus. Then you'll be rich.
So much waste in this world.

Yes, when the grease is re-fried, it comebines with the air creating Trans-fatty acids which will fuck you up so hard its not funny
I <3 Cheddar and Eden.
I tried Double Brie once. Tasted horrible. Should have gotten the Camambert instead of it.
