After my recent exploration in RAM, i decided i would like a mobo with 4 ram slots. How much do they cost, is it easy enough to plug everything else (GPU,CPU,HD's basically everything) back into them?

Bear in mind, im a total techno idiot.

Take it to a store. You win on it. Make them choose, take the old stuff out, and the new in. Remember that you have to reinstall Windows if you change motherboard.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

It depends! Generally speaking, they are all very easy to use - but they differ from RAM support, CPU socket, expandability etc.
