I can't say I agree with you on your stance with Religion...I double-majored in Religious Studies and Catholic Studies in college.  However, I do not think that all religions carry equal merit.  Many religions have elements of truth, but some have more truth than others.  Ultimately, everyone in life, even atheists, are out to find the TRUTH.  Be it their own self-invented truth, or a less narcissistic perspective.

However, I do believe Islam is ass-backward.  In theory there are some good points, but where it is today in the 21st century, and where the Muslim Leaders want it to be...it's disgusting, in the most revolting sense of the word.

Simple statements Vs. a full scale invasion.  Geez, I wonder what's worse.  Cmon.
Did they not lie to the American people?  Did they not help "sell" it to the world?  Geez, what is worse?  The worst is the selling and voting for it Serge, because that is what started it all.
In 8 years Clinton never thought about invading Iraq, and 9/11 has nothing to do with it.
They are to blame too for selling it to the world, like you say, but it's much worse to do it, like GWB did.
Clinton sent troops to the border in '98 preparing for an invasion, even if it was just dick measuring.  Democrats said he was a threat to the US.  Both bubba and wife said that BTW.  One Dem also said Saddam helped al-Q................I'll let you guess who.  So please, spare me.

Again, no drastic actions, just meaningless statements, that's all.  So please, spare me.

She demonstrated intent and willingness with her statements. Politicians use words to sell their product and they are not meaningless.

If you keep a pedophile away from schools you don't praise their restraint because they were not in a position to of carry out their sick desires.

True that in most cases actions mean more than words.  Words can prevent wars and words can start wars.

But, since words are so useless, why do you always ask people why we went to Iraq?  Apparently you do not need an answer since words are useless.  Why do we hear all this "zomg he said WMD" BS?  Just words right?  You can take issue with the action of course, but then stop asking the "why" question then.

Big difference, Clinton just talked about WMD's, GWB talked about them and invaded the country.  Clinton = statement based on bad intellingence reports followed by precaution, GWB = statement based on bad intelligence reports followed by disaster.

I think your evading the question(Like most libs) My personal guess is revenge for his dad.(Seriously get your own revenge dont bring in an entire army to do it for you) This war would have worked if he did 2 things different. 1 kept the Iraqi army as a security force instead of disbanding it(Where do you think most of the early insurgents came from?) They were'nt loyal to saddam they hated him more then america then but when they lost their jobs they changed sides. And 2 kept some of the infrastructure intact. Thats where the Shiite insurgents came from(We destroyed some of their buildings and utilities) The only good thing this war has done was bring the taliban out into the open(Afghanistan was almost won because we pushed them back to the pakistani mountains) I am against this war but for the troops and if you're too bias to distinguish between the 2 please eff off and go protest another church which speaks out against abortion.

Neoconservatives have devised their brilliant plan to combat "terrorism" ... Pretty much what I have been saying all along.  Islamophobia is the neoconservative answer.  How about that.
Just like the left have devised their brilliant plan to combat the right...

Generalization ftw.

Like I said, you can say what you want about the action, but stop bitching about WMD's and "why" if words are meaningless.
