not surpised; i do know that in day of defeat source you can get hit by a grenade and blood would splatter. in bf2 i once shoot a grenade with gl and by accidently hit my teammate and it bounced back at me. same goes with swat 4
With smoke nades it takes 1 shot from the assult rifle, then 2 pistol shots...after that when you hit them with smoke grenade you will get a kill.
