I have two monitors, when I run BF2 on my primary, I can have any other program/window open on the secondary. BUT, if I move my mouse to the secondary monitor to click on anything, BF2 minimizes itself.

Is there anyway to get it so BF2 stays up while I navigate through whatever else I have on the secondary monitor??

(I know this could go in tech section, but not necessarily.)

I have the same problem.  Also when I put say iTunes or Windows Media Player up on the other screen and load BF2 on the primary, it pushes the iTunes over to the right of the second screen so only half of it is showing.  It's weird.

Well I can give you an answer for that problem. It is because you play BF2 in a different resolution then your desktop. And the resolution changes automatically for both monitors to whatever it is for BF2. Thus the positioning gets a little off for the secondary. Did that help?

I did consider the possibility of running multiple operating systems, I think linux or some shit has that capability? Or I heard something about virtual desktops? I don't know.

Ohh!  You're so blatantly right that I feel like an idiot.  Yea but the other screen I own is a dinky 14 inch flat screen with a max res of 1024 x 768 so...Oh well.

Sorry I can't be of assistance to your problem Doomed.

Damn, well I guess this means the end of this thread, and the beginning of my random searching on the vastness of the interenets to find an answer
