Does what kit you play depend on what map your on or just the mood your in??
If its got buildings or enclosed flag areas, I go sniper with claymore as my primary weapon. I'm an asshole, and proud of it.
For me, it depends on my mood.
When i play IO Karkand, i go for the pump shotty. M11-87 FTW
When i fly, medic...incase i go out of bounds a bit too long.
any other map with vehicles i'm either AT with the DAO-12 or Engineer with a trusty ol' shotgun.
P.S. nothing like bulldozing an entire squad with the DAO.

if its io or a city map ill be either medic or occasionally sniper. for airmaps im ALWAYS engi so i can repair my precious helo.

CQC maps like town in jalalabad started using Doa12.
Karkand? played it about 3 times in the past 6 months... yet it's still my most played map. (Used to go as sniper or medic)

Medic no matter what, but If I'm playing crap I'll go claymore only.

Support for a LB pilot, engi for a LB passenger. Anything for jets and attack helis, engineer mostly for tanks and/or AT for APC's only (extra hitting power for enemy armour). Always support for Mobile AA.
City maps: Assault/medic. Occasionally others (AT if vehicles are on, sniper/support if Im in the mood). Engineer sometimes on certain maps for AT mine spammage.

Karkand = Anti-tank or Engy w/ MP7. Out of the blue, usually surprises people (explains how I started off a round 7-1 with the MP7).

yes it's essential and i go as far as army and situation during round.
I have seen too many guys used the sniper kit when they are being overrun and that's plane dumb

I pair kits and spawn points. Backyard to mosque is an accurate assault rifle, LMG, or Sniper. Mosque to Hotel is sniper rifle or VERY accurate other weapon. Mosque to hill is AK, or damaging assault rifle.
But that's just me.
