Is it just me or is it really bad compared to say an smg with double tap?
i cant stand it, i prefer rifles myself.... but i would take a smg over that semi auto pos any day
It only has 4 shots, that sucks. I suppose they didnt want it to be super awesome but 4?

ak74u + double tap seems to be a good recipe so far for me. Although thats because I don't have the P90 yet, lulz.
Standing with a shotgun pointed at a spawnpoint on Shipment is a great way to get easy kills though. I used to use the four-shot semi-auto, but you need capacity really, so I go for the pump now.

Without sleight of hand the semi-auto shotgun is pathetic, with the perk it goes up to 'ok'.
Depends on how you use it though, in close range (say 2 metres) it's deadly with one shot to the upper body or so it seems for me, but beyond 2 metres you always require two shots or more (which is why sleight of hand is sort of mandatory when using the semi-auto I'd say).

fuck off i come top of every round with it, and i have 3x frags, sonic boom, and steady aim. it never fails. if your having touble with it without double tap, then you either need skill or learn how to use it.

normal shotgun needs double tap to be basically the same amount of win

I reckon both shotties are great for room clearing but anything more than 1-1.5 metres and your screwed.

and that was in source, not cod4.
Sleight of Hand and Double Tap are a waste of a Perk imo. This is my Shotty set up.

Yeah I have martyrdom on there I don't on my other classes, but I don't really don't use the shotguns anymore. Just wanted to show off my golden shotty
And it pwns on any map if you can use it right. But Shipment is the worst map in the game.

tbh i only use the damage increasing perk and either iron lung for snipers or the increase accuracy one
the rest of the perks are kind of not very useful if you're any good...
