Hi guys,

I was considering upgrading recently, but decided as my rig so so shite, i'm just gonna get myself a loan and buy a beast. I want something as futureproof as possible for under 2k. I am stealing the monitor, speakers, and peripherals from this machine, so can spend it all on a base unit. I am going to wait until Jan (hopefully for the sales), but have been looking at evesham.com and meshcomputers.com. You guys seem to know more than I do... so any suggestions/criticism would be appreciated.

Wait until the X48 chipset comes out, honestly if you want to spend that much money then wait until late January/early Febuary.

By then the new line of Intels 45nm chips will be out aswell as the new X48 chipset, coupled with a G92 release of the 8800GTX/Ultra, if you buy now you will regret it as prices are going to take a steep fall in a few months.

Im a systems builder and even i am telling people not to buy right now.
