Fun Fun Fun, anyway, every saturday night i go to the Ice skatin disco down at the ice rink, its great, lots of girls there (and chavs unfortunatly).

only bad point the music is mediocore at best

anyone else here enjoy ice skatin (or got any horror storys to tell)?

I played bandy for a couple years.

(Norwegian variation of hockey)

I was actually pretty good but my football coach ordered me to give it up when we got promoted.

I went last week with this girl from my school, we had the whole rink to ourselves cause it was during the day, was awesome.

I used to Ice skate and play hockey with friends when I was younger. I haven't done it in years. I wonder if it's like riding a bike, once you learn you never forget. I don't get to do it anymore because I live in Florida, not too many place to skate here. End of November and the lake down the road doesn't look like it's gonna freeze anytime soon.

I was more of a rollerblader in my childhood. Went once or twice ice skating. Not as fun, where's the freedom?

Man. I used to do so much shit in my childhood. Football all the time, Cricket all the time. Cycling, Rollerblading, so much Swimming. What happened to me....now it's all girls, alcohol, drugs (ok, just weed and the odd cig) and maybe some football on the side, also BF2s and Facebook whoring and playing games. I'm destroying myself...

I wanna go back

Last time I tried, I kept falling over. I'm not cut out for anything involving not falling over backwards or forwards.

Maybe if it required the same skills as cycling, as I can do that without slamming into the ground on my face.

It's not hard to start doing all that stuff again. Easiest would be Cricket, you live in the UK. There should be a Cricket club nearby.

Only been ice skating once (I live in Southern CA), but it's really fun. I used to be real big on rollerblading, so ice skating was fun and easy for me.

Only funny thing I remember is this one guy thought he was the shit and was skating around all fast and skating backwards and acting like a badass. Then while skating backwards real fast he falls back flat on his ass and just sits there embarrassed. Serves the show-off right!

a couple of weeks ago at ice skatin, im skating around then someone grabs onto my wrist, i look round (hoping its a girl) but to my horror its a big dumb guy who had never skated before, i sped up and sent him sliding into the barriors. funny stuff.
