The only things stopping me at the moment are;
1) A download limit of 40 gig a month
2) The contract is TWO years!
3) I'm not sure if the "free" laptop is any good...or whether they're just trying to get rid of old stock from Dell.
They're throwing in a (supposedly) free laptop to attract new customers but is it a good one? The other fact I think I ought to state are that my Internet usage includes daily browsing, Skype (including webcam) chats of about an hour or 2 per day, one 700mb movie every week or so, a regular amount of gaming, and last but not least, Internet radio usage of anything between 2 to 5hrs per day.
There are 3 things that interest me regarding wot's on offer;
1) The cheaper price plan (£5 less than wot I'm currently paying with BT - British Telecom)
2) A better customer/technical support service than BT - that's wot I've heard from other forum members who use AOL
3) The free laptop of course - assuming it's a good one or the package more than compensates for the 2yr contract.
So wot do you guys think about it? Worth changing over to AOL? Or is it a complete waste of time?
