BF2S Forums Anyone do this? (lob a nade at a mine near a tank and get the kill)

Grenades on AT mines don't work.... But I haven't played engy in a long time.

If you want AT kills, throw the mines under empty tanks. Or better yet, go around fighting in your tank, and once it's about to blow, throw a mine under it and then repair it a little. Idiot guy will come up and instead of just killing you and then taking the tank, he'll go for the tank first. Just make sure you run or else you'll get caught in the explosion.

I do this with c4, place 2 charges underneath my tank and bail when its health gets low. Detonate at will.

I threw a grenade to where I thought a fav would be by the time the grenade exploded. Sure enough an engineer runs over and puts down a mine. My grenade explodes, destorys the fav and kills me team mate.

Got to revive him but they never watch for grenades or c4 in the hope of getting a vehicle killed by a mine.

Yeah, I think I remember that was changed in a patch.

Yeah, I think I remember that was changed in a patch.

I never understood why they did that...Well, I guess to a point, but it just seems lame. You have to have an engineer come find you to remove claymores and AT mines and by that time its too late.

sometimes i throw grenades at tanks... but never AT mines...

Youve made so many fucking threads on 1.03, stop and just make 1 big one, considering most people play 1.41, and dont miss some of the most stupid fucking play of any game ever, it would be easier for you to bang on about your obsession with this fail version in a nice thread solely for 1.03.

Toss an AT mine under an empty tank (especially in your own base). The next soldier that comes to cap that flag will usually grab the armour, and the engineer gets two (or sometimes even three) points for no effort.
